Lumber PickUp and Payment
Here are some common answers to questions about picking up your lumber.
Will you let me know when my lumber is ready for pickup?
Yes, we will contact you via text, phone, or email as we approach your logs’ mill date. We will let you know when your stack is ready to be picked up or stacked/stickered.
What type of vehicle or trailer do I need to pick up my lumber?
Most lumber orders that we cut will require a truck or trailer to transport. Rough-cut, green lumber is heavier than most people realize. Please bring a truck or trailer capable of hauling your lumber’s weight– and ensure that your equipment is in good repair (especially the tires are good and have sufficient air). DOT regulations recommend that lumber not extend beyond the tailgate more than 48”. Flag any load that sticks out beyond the tail gate or trailer. Be sure to bring plenty of ratchet straps. We can load trailers, box trucks, and other common hauling vehicles.
Can I pick up my lumber with my car by making multiple trips?
No, please pick up your lumber in one or two trips. We expect to spend 30 minutes interacting with clients about their lumber orders. Beyond two trips, we charge $75 per hour that involves our time or labor.
Will you or your employees be available to help me load my lumber?
Yes, we plan on spending at least 30 minutes helping folks load. If your load requires more than 30 minutes then we charge $75 per hour.
What forms of payment do you take?
For payment, we take cash, check, Venmo, Cash App, and Zelle. We also take Pay Pal and Credit Card with a 4% processing fee. Ask about our discounts.
